Sound baths are so popular because with essentially no preparation for the client, sound entrainment can lead to deep relaxation of body and trance-like states of the mind, which in turn trigger the body's and mind's own natural functions to repair and restore.

Identifying the overtones unique to your gong or bowls can help you make a better choice in purchasing further instruments that complement your existing ones. Aiming for overtone alignments between instruments leads to perceived consonance or pleasantness.
